Tulsa Spiritual Companioning Program

The purpose of the ISI Spiritual Companioning formaton program is to provide formation for persons who hope to help others make the Spiritual Exercises of St Ignatius in everyday life. The program includes study of the text of the Spiritual Exercises, exploration of the dynamics and vision of the Spiritual Exercises, and developing gifts of listening, learning, and guiding others in their prayer experiences. The work of the program is the shaping of guides who follow the Ignatian way of spiritual companioning.  

Participants gather for weekend workshops four times annually, and have independent reading and exercises to complete between sessions. The weekend workshops begin on Friday afternoons, and continue all day the following Saturday. Here is the schedule for the four workshop sessions: 

  • Friday- 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. (dinner included)
  • Saturday 9:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. (lunch included)

The 2018-2019 workshop dates are:

  • September 28-29, 2018
  • ​November 2-3, 2018
  • February 22-23, 2019
  • April 26-27, 2019

Program Tuition and Materials:

Tuition and Materials are $1,000 annually ($250 per weekend workshop)
