Since Vatican II emphasized the role of the laity in the Church, lay women and men have been playing increasingly important roles in the mission and direction of Jesuit works.This workshop is designed to explore themes behind key words and phrases from the Jesuit “Way of Proceeding” that can easily be over-simplified or unexplored. Ignatius’ directions from the Jesuit Constitutions and documents of recent General Congregations will supply the matter of this workshop which is aimed at lay colleagues and their Jesuit co-workers in schools, parishes, retreat houses, social justice ministries, and spirituality centers.
The workshop will be held at Montserrat Jesuit Retreat House January 15-18, 2023 The cost of the workshop is $450 per participant.
